Instructional Focus:
We place a strong emphasis on providing a well-rounded education for our students. This includes not only core academic subjects such as reading, math, science, and social studies, but also elective classes in areas like Spanish, computer keyboarding/coding, and the arts.

Bible:
We also prioritize the integration of a biblical worldview into all aspects of our curriculum and hold regular chapel services to encourage spiritual growth.

Reading Curriculum:
In reading, we use a balanced literacy approach that includes a variety of techniques such as whole-group instruction, small-group work, and independent reading. Our goal is to help students develop a love for reading and become proficient, lifelong learners.

Math Curriculum:
Our math instruction uses a hands-on learning approach that allows students to engage actively with and explore mathematical concepts. This helps to make the subject more relatable and meaningful for our students.

Science and Social Studies:
In science and social studies, we use a project-based learning approach that encourages students to apply their knowledge to real-world situations. This helps to make these subjects more interactive and engaging for our students.

Technology:
To support our student's learning, we provide access to technology such as iPads and Chromebooks. We have a 1:1 device ratio, meaning that each student has their own device to use in class and at home. We also have a STEAM lab equipped with robots and a 3-D printer, as well as interactive TV panels in our K-2nd grade classrooms.

Teachers:
Our teachers are all certified and committed to ongoing professional development to stay up-to-date on the latest teaching methods and technologies. We also have a mentoring program in place to provide support and guidance for newer teachers.

Elective Classes:
In addition to our core academic subjects, we offer a variety of elective classes to allow students to explore their interests and discover new passions. These classes include Spanish, computer keyboarding/coding, STEAM, visual arts, music, physical education, fine arts, integrity dance, musical theater, band, orchestra, choir, guitar, and athletics. We offer a wide range of sports options to allow all students to find a sport that interests them.

Middle & High School Academics

Faith Christian Academy carefully selects curriculum through multiple publishers looking for ways to integrate a biblical worldview. Our teachers play an important role in helping to choose appropriate curriculum and learning how to best present the curriculum in a way that fosters critical thinking and promotes high levels of rigor. Many of our academic subject curriculum stems from Christian-based companies, and in this way, promotes our goals of a solid Christian education.
