Faith Christian Academy Homeschool provides support and a system of accountability for parents who desire to educate their children at home. Students who are enrolled in FCA are considered private school students and do not register as homeschooled students with the County.

Our Homeschool Office will endeavor to provide you with excellent service to help you be effective in educating your students. Our program is designed to assist parents on all grade levels, kindergarten through 12th grade. Students who graduate from Faith Christian Academy’s homeschool will be awarded a diploma from FCA.

As the Homeschool Program Coordinator at Faith Christian Academy, I am honored to support families who choose to educate their children at home. Our program provides both guidance and accountability, ensuring that parents have the resources they need for a successful homeschooling experience. Students enrolled in FCA’s homeschool program are considered private school students and do not need to register as homeschoolers with the County.

Our Homeschool Office is dedicated to providing excellent service to help you effectively educate your students from kindergarten through 12th grade. Seniors in our program participate in regular graduation activities and receive a diploma from Faith Christian Academy, just like our on-campus students.

Homeschool students have opportunities to participate in all FCA’s extracurricular activities, including sports and honor society. Whether it’s our athletics program, after-school dance, field trips, or chapel services, we want our homeschool students to feel like a valued part of our school community.

On-Campus Involvement

Additional educational services and on-campus classes (6th grade through 12th grade) are available for families desiring their students to participate in classes at the Academy.

Students in our homeschool program have the opportunity to participate in the Academy’s extracurricular activities such as the sports program, the after-school dance program, field trips planned for our on-campus students, elementary and secondary chapel, and more.

  • Academic year runs from August 1 to May 30 (175 calendar days)

    • Grades K-7: MAP Assessment (Winter & Spring)
    • Grades 8-12: PSAT, SAT, or ACT (depending on grade)

    • Florida Virtual School (FLVS Flex)
    • Honors, AP, and Dual Enrollment options
    • Graduation ceremonies and activities

Absolutely! We encourage families in the FCA Homeschool program to actively participate in sports and extracurricular activities.

How is standardized testing handled?

FCA Homeschool students are required to take standardized assessments. These assessments are
administered on our campus.

  • Kindergarten-7th take the MAP assessment
  • 8th & 9th graders take the PSAT 8/9
  • 10th-11th take the PSAT NMSQT
  • 11th & 12th take the School Day SAT and ACT
