The Student Support Services Department is committed to honoring God by addressing the diverse learning needs of students with diagnoses that may impact their academic performance. Through compassionate care and tailored support, we strive to help each student overcome challenges and reach their full potential.
Students are admitted to our department if they have an educational evaluation from a licensed psychologist or a medical diagnosis that is less than three years old, and this must be updated every three years to remain in the program. An action or accommodation plan is developed based on the recommendations from the student’s evaluation and the ability of FCA to implement these accommodations. The school does not have the ability to implement all the services that would be available in a public school under the IDEA. All plans are reviewed annually.
